Which Companies are Required to Report?
The reporting requirement applies to your company if it belongs to accounting class C and if it exceeds at least two of the following dimensions:
- A balance sheet total amounting DKK 143 mil.
- A net turnover of DKK 286 mil.
- An average of 250 full time employees
Also subjected to the disclosure requirements are companies in accounting class D as well as institutional investors, investment funds and stock quoted financial companies.
If your company already reports in accordance with the UN Global Compact Principles or the UN Principles for Responsible Investments it is sufficient to refer to these reports in the annual management statement.

What to Report on?
Companies working with CSR are asked to report on their activities in relation to:
- The company policies on corporate social responsibility
- How these policies are implemented
- Which results have been achieved during the accounting year
In case your company has chosen not to engage with CSR, it is sufficient to declare so in the annual management statement. GLOBAL CSR, however, discourages companies from choosing this path, as it may have a negative impact on your company’s image and on attracting future employees, partners and investors.
Furthermore, most companies already have in place activities resembling CSR which can be translated into a solid basis for future CSR reports. GLOBAL CSR can assist your company in mapping these activities, putting them into writing, thereby creating value through a structured approach to CSR.
