Is your organisation an Enterprise of Tomorrow?
GLOBAL CSR now launches the initiative ‘Enterprise of Tomorrow’, a CSR initiative for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and industry associations. The initiative officially starts at March 1, 2012 and your organisation can join.
It can be a challenging task to work with CSR - not least for SMEs with limited resources that must be carefully balanced. Enterprise of Tomorrow specifically targets SMEs and industry associations that have SMEs as their member base. The aim of the initiative is to assist participating members in generating value from their CSR engagement.
However the need for assistance on CSR among SMEs is not only a Danish phenomenon. In 2012 GLOBAL CSR and Bernard Brunhes International (BBI) have, by the European Commission, been assigned the task of developing a practical guide for SMEs. The overall objective is to assist European SME’s in further developing their capacity in the field of CSR with a specific focus on human rights. Why join Enterprise of Tomorrow?
By joining Enterprise of Tomorrow, your organisation gains access to a thorough consultancy process on CSR and how the concept can be applied in an SME context. The consultancy process enables members to work diligently with CSR in a business-oriented way that makes it possible for members to gain competitive advantages from their CSR engagement.
A strong CSR strategy
The consultancy process runs over a period of five months and is a combination of five 6-hour seminars and 10 hours of individual counselling that is tailored to each organisation's specific needs. Throughout the process, each participating organisation will receive advice on how to best create value through their work with CSR.
By the end of the process, participants will have gained a thorough and up-to-date understanding of CSR, and each participating organisation will have developed a business-driven and contemporary CSR strategy, or have improved and updated an already existing CSR strategy.
An interactive CSR platform
The membership of Enterprise of Tomorrow gives members access to an interactive CSR platform that facilitates knowledge sharing among participating SMEs and industry associations. The platform also provides access to a range of operational tools which members can apply in their CSR work. Also, members will have access to a news service that will update members on the CSR agenda and be a source of inspiration.
